Street Weeds

Walking around London I became fascinated by the little weeds that grow between paving stones or in the cracks in the wall. Nature in cities is pretty much controlled by humans, in parks, gardens and tree lined streets, so it's good to see these defiant little weeds fighting back and determinedly growing wherever they can. It's quite wonderful to think that if left alone these weeds would flourish and reclaim the city. It gives hope that whatever we do, nature will fight back - and hopefully win.
