Three Wise Monkeys

This was a project that evolved rather than something that was planned and it was done over a period of about a year. It started, like many of my collections, with just taking the odd photograph here and there but before I knew it, I had a dozen or so photos of friends performing three wise monkeys. What I liked about it was both the enthusiasm of the people being photographed and the fact that they each performed it differently, made it their own. I stopped quite suddenly, after taking over 150 photos, just feeling that it had run its course and that if my friends were not starting to feel tired of performing for me they soon would be.
